Facebook has updated its Trending feature. Facebook introduced this feature two years back. It was designed and built to help people see interesting and relevant discussions, latest news and events going on Facebook.
With this update, from now on you will see a simple notification like Don Bradman along with the number of people talking about that particular topic on Facebook. This is made by the number of original posts that mention the topic and shares of post about that topic.
Earlier a small description used to be appeared next to the trending topic. Now you have to either hover over it or click on it to see more about a topic. It is note worthy that list of topics you see is still personalized and based on a number of factors, like your location, your likes (pages), previous trending topics you’ve interacted and what is trending on Facebook overall.
