Snapdeal has introduced “Snapdeal Gold”, an exclusive delivery service, to counter recently launched Amazon Prime. Amazon launched its Amazon Prime service last month in India. Amazon offered 60 day free trial of this service on the launch. After that one need to pay to continue availing this premium service.
Unlike Amazon Prime, Snapdeal Gold is absolutely free. Under Snapdeal Gold, products will be delivered on next day (wherever applicable) without any shipping charge. You will also get special extended purchase protection (14 days replacement/return instead of 7 days). It has only one condition that you have to pay via pre-paid payment method. Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, EMI and Wallet. It is not available on Cash on Delivery.
